One-to-one courses.

I’m happy to be able to offer individually tailored one-to-one mindfulness courses.

Some people prefer to learn mindfulness in a one-to-one environment and working together in this way allows us to tailor the course to specifically meet your individual needs. You may choose to focus more on stress management, anxiety, chronic pain or perhaps a desire to feel more connected to life, develop more feelings of joy, contentedness and wellbeing.

Our course together can follow the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme or the Mindfulness Now programme and can be tailored to your needs.

Individual courses are a relaxed way of learning how to meditate and will introduce you to mindfulness through to mindfulness becoming a part of your everyday life.

You will learn a variety of formal and informal mindfulness meditation practices, which involve using the breath and body as a focus for being aware of our experience in the present moment.

About the sessions

Sessions are an hour long at a cost of £60 per session.

After an initial zoom chat, if we decide that working together is suitable and will be beneficial for you then at that point you would be invited to commit to a minimum of 4 sessions, but ideally 8 further weekly sessions to experience the many recognised and research based benefits of mindfulness training.

You will receive a course manual that contains a breakdown of the course and some of the theory that supports our mindfulness practice and you’ll also need to keep a journal to keep track of your mindfulness journey.

Each week you will have access to recorded guided meditations and email or phone support (if required) between sessions.

In order to fully participate in the course and enjoy the many recognised benefits of mindfulness and meditation you would be expected to commit to a regular daily home practice of up to 30 minutes and also to keep a mindfulness journal for the duration of the course.
